Win an Ipod Nano - Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. The Promoter is TaxDude (Marcos Chavira).
  2. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
  4. Eligibility and Participation. a. This contest is open to anyone currently residing in the United States. b. Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions listed in this Contest Terms and Conditions will result in disqualification of any submitted entries, and the nullification of contestant privileges to further participate in the contest. If multiple entries are found to be from the same person all their entries will be void and they will be disqualified from participating in the contest.
  5. To be eligible to participate, entrants must enter their information via the Contest page on TaxDude.net. In entering for the contest, entrants must provide their name, valid email address, and all other required information.
  6. The promotion commences at 9:00am PST on 1st September 2011 and closes at 23.59 PST on 1 November 2011.
  7. To enter the promotion, participants must subscribe to the TaxDude e-newsletter. Entry is via the competition banner on the http://www.taxdude.net home page.
  8. Entry is open to people who subscribe to the www.taxdude.net newsletter between 1 September 2011 to 1 November 2011 only. One entry is permitted per person.
  9. All valid entries will go into a random draw, which will take place at 12pm PST on 15 November 2011 at www.taxdude.net offices 831 8th Street Eureka California 95501. 5 entries will be drawn to win 5 individual iPod Nanos. Only one prize will be eligible to each winner. Multiple email addresses per individual will still only allow that person  one chance to win.
  10. An unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12pm PST on 25 November 2011 at taxdude.net offices, 831 8th Street, Eureka, California 95501.
  11. The maximum total value of the prize pool is US$500.
  12. The winner will be notified by email within 3 working days of the prize draw. The winner’s details will also be published at www.taxdude.net for a period of three months.
  13. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. Prize must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible.
  14. The prize will be shipped to the winner’s home address no later than November 30, 2011 and will arrive shortly after.
  15. Prize Responsibility. All prizewinners will be responsible for any and all federal, state and/or local taxes resulting from acceptance of any and all prizes associated with this Contest. All prizes are subject to availability. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of TaxDude.net, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value may be awarded.
  16. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions, subject to the approval of all relevant federal and state contest laws.
  17. Entrants warrant and guarantee to the Promoter that their entry and any other content provided to the Promoter are their own original work and entrants indemnify the promoter against any third party claims against the Promoter, arising from its publication of such content.
  18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
  19. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  20. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
  21. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
  22. All entrants will be subscribed to the taxdude.net email newsletter. As a subscriber of the newsletter you will be given the as the opportunity to take advantage of special offers. Each promotion and special offer is subject to terms and conditions which will be available to you via the newsletter at the time of entering the promotion or viewing the offer. Any competition that is made available to the public is governed by its own terms and conditions subject to law. The terms and conditions of each promotion will be made available to all prospective entrants and should be read in conjunction with this Agreement. By entering this promotion, you are subscribing to the newsletter and are consenting to receive electronic communications from TaxDude regarding the newsletter and offers and services.
